Yemen’s Houthi rebels launched missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, setting fire to an administrative building of state-owned oil giant Aramco in Dhahran on Tuesday (October 13), according to Al Jazeera.
No casualties were reported in the attack on the Aramco building. Meanwhile, Saudi authorities said debris from two intercepted missiles fell in Riyadh, injuring four people and damaging 15 houses.
The attacks came hours after Saudi-led coalition forces struck an oil facility in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. The Houthis had warned civilians and workers to stay away from several Saudi oil facilities and other sites, describing them as potential targets.
Saudi authorities said emergency teams brought the fire at the Aramco building under control. Further attacks and counterthreats have heightened tensions between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition.
