With these deaths, the number of dengue-related deaths in the country this year has reached 82.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the information in press release on Sunday.
According to the release, among the newly hospitalized patients, 117 were from Barishal Division, 100 from Chattogram Division, 135 from Dhaka Division (Outside the city corporations), 61 from Dhaka North City Corporation, 91 from Dhaka South City Corporation, 159 from Khulna Division, 79 from Mymensingh Division, 71 from Rajshahi Division, 23 from Rangpur Division and three from Sylhet Division.
The DGHS said a total of 28,929 people have been infected with dengue so far this year.
