Bellal Bin Quashem is a well-known name in Bangla literature. He has left a distinctive mark in poetry, essays, and novels. His writings often reflect social realities, human emotions, love and longing, patriotism, and the crises of contemporary times.

His notable poetry collection Anuronon has received wide acclaim among readers. In this work, he captures diverse human emotions through lyrical expression, engaging readers both intellectually and emotionally.

Similarly, his novel Dure Kothao portrays the complexities of human relationships and the struggles of life within a broader social context. The novel has been praised for its depth and realism.

He began his professional career in 2002 through journalism and writing. Over the years, he has worked with several national dailies, weeklies, and electronic media outlets. His journalism was marked by investigative rigor, courage, and commitment to truth.

His reports and analyses on social, political, and cultural issues have been widely appreciated. Beyond reporting news, he has played a significant role in raising awareness by highlighting societal inconsistencies and challenges.

Since 2012, Bellal Bin Quashem has been associated with the Islamic Foundation, where he has been involved in administrative duties as well as religious and social development initiatives. His experience in the institution has given him a broader perspective, which is also reflected in his literary works.

As a Public Relations Officer, his responsibilities include communicating the organization’s activities to the public, promoting religious and social programs, and maintaining effective relations with the media. In addition, he has previously served as Deputy Director in the ICT Division, Publication Division, and as Deputy Director in Narail and Jashore district offices.

His rejoining is expected to strengthen the institution’s information flow, public engagement, and overall image.

His writings emphasize human values, justice, patriotism, and social reform. He strongly believes that literature is not merely a form of entertainment but a powerful tool for social change.

Coming from a well-known family, he is the middle sibling among three brothers and two sisters.

His elder brother, Mohammad Bin Quashem Jewel, is a prominent social worker and a first-class contractor based in Dhaka. His younger brother, Ellias Bin Quasem Russel, serves as Head of Production in the News and Current Affairs Department at Machranga Television. His younger sister, Farhana Afroze, is a Senior Officer at Dhaka Bank.

In his personal life, he is married and the father of a daughter, Fariha Jahin.
