The primary scholarship examination for 2025 is set to commence across the country from today (15 April), according to the Directorate of Primary Education.
According to an official circular, the examination will begin on 15 April, which will continue till 18 April. It says each test will be held from 10:00am to 12:30pm.
According to the routine, Bangla will be held on 15 April, English on 16 April, Primary Mathematics on 17 April, and Bangladesh and Global Studies and Primary Science on April 18.
The timetable had earlier been approved at a meeting of the National Steering Committee under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on 5 March, followed by the release of detailed instructions by the Directorate.
However, a separate schedule has been set for the three hill districts—Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban.
In these areas, the examinations will begin on 17 April with Primary Mathematics, followed by Bangladesh and Global Studies and Primary Science on 18 April, Bangla on 19 April, and English on 20 April.
The circular also said that specially-abled candidates would be allowed an additional 30 minutes for each examination.
