In a post on X, Iran's national security chief Ali Larijani has vowed to protect their 6,000-year old civilisation against an aggression that he accused the United States and Israel for starting.

Meanwhile, the total number of US service members killed during the US operation in Iran has risen to four, US Central Command said on Monday.

Till now, a total of 555 Iranian people have been killed after the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran two days ago.

The attacks and counterattacks have rattled the entire Middle East, as Iran has been striking both civilian and military targets across various gulf countries.

The Iran crisis has been affecting Bangladeshi lives too, as two expatriates have lost their lives in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain and four others have been injured in Kuwait after Iranian attacks on these countries.
