The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has sought public assistance to identify and locate a suspect involved in the shooting of Osman Hadi.
Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of the DMP, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, disclosed the information on Saturday.
He said police have identified two suspects in connection with the attack and are conducting intensive operations across the city to arrest those involved.
According to the DMP, CCTV footage from the scene has been analysed, and images of a suspected attacker have been preliminarily identified. Police are actively searching for the individual.
The DMP has urged anyone with information about the suspect or his whereabouts to immediately contact the police through the national emergency service 999 or the following numbers: DC Motijheel at 01320040080 and OC Paltan at 01320040132.
Police assured that the identity of informants will be kept confidential and that suitable rewards will be offered for credible information.
