Kaavish, Shironamhin and Meghdol to perform at Wave Fest.
Pakistani band Kaavish is set to return to Dhaka on September 26, nearly 10 months after its planned concert in the city was postponed.
The band will perform at Wave Fest: Enjoy the Full Moon, alongside Bangladeshi bands Shironamhin and Meghdol.
Event organiser PrimeWave Communications announced the new date on its official Facebook page on Saturday (September 12). The venue has not yet been announced, with the organisers citing security concerns.
Tickets purchased for last year’s postponed concert will remain valid, the organisers said. New tickets are also available through online ticketing platform Tickify. General tickets cost Tk 2,999, while VIP tickets are priced at Tk 5,499.

The concert was originally scheduled for December 5, 2025, with Kaavish, Shironamhin and Meghdol on the lineup. PrimeWave Communications later postponed the event amid the tense situation in the country and concerns over public safety.
Kaavish had arrived in Dhaka ahead of the concert but could not perform after the event was postponed.
Formed in 1998 by Jaffer Zaidi and Maaz Maudood, Kaavish is one of Pakistan’s well-known alternative music bands. Some of their popular songs include ‘Bachpan’, ‘Tere Pyar Mein’, ‘Mooray Saiyaan’, ‘Nindiya Re’ and ‘Faasle’.
Shironamhin and Meghdol have also remained active on the music scene. Meghdol recently performed with Kolkata-based band Chandrabindoo at ‘Megher Shonge Chander Dekha’ in Kolkata. The band also released its new song ‘Mulluk’ on Coke Studio Bangla.
Shironamhin recently released ‘Shopner Ticket’ and continues to perform at live shows.
The September 26 concert will bring the three bands together in Dhaka after the long wait.
