File PhotoAllies of fallen dictator are using artificial intelligence (AI) and social media to create 'mob culture' and use various incitements to destroy the stability of the country, said Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs minister Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
He made these remarks to journalists after exchanging views with party leaders and activists at the Panchagarh district BNP office on Sunday.
Referring to the Awami League, the Social Welfare Minister said, “We do not believe in secret politics. We believe in democracy. If you have the courage, then do not run away and face the law and courts of the country.”
Criticizing the previous government, he said, “Those who shot and killed people like birds, looted the country’s resources, and committed mega robberies in the name of mega projects—every account will be held on the soil of Bangladesh.”
Challenging them to prove their innocence by facing the law and courts, the minister said, “The people of the country are aware today. They have realized that the friends of the dictatorship are sitting abroad and creating a mob culture through AI and social media and are trying to destroy the stability of the country by instigating various things.”
At that time, District Council administrator and District BNP joint convener MA Majid, District BNP convener Zahirul Islam Kachchu, District BNP member Yunus Sheikh, Jubo Dal president Ferdous Wahid Russell, District Swechchasebok member secretary Moniruzzaman Manik, along with leaders and activists of district and upazila BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations were present.
