Rest house inaugurated at Bhimruli's floating guava garden

A rest house built for tourists has been inaugurated at Bhimruli's floating guava garden in Kirttipasha Union of Sadar Upazila of Jhalakathi. At the same time, dustbins have been distributed among the locals to ensure environmental protection and cleanliness of the tourist area.

Jhalakathi Deputy Commissioner Md. Momin Uddin inaugurated the rest house at a program organized in Bhimruli at 5 pm on Sunday (September 6). Later, he distributed dustbins among the locals.

Local Government Branch Deputy Director Julia Sukayna, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Kawsar Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md.  Touhidul Islam, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Segufta Mehnaz, Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Mehedi Hasan and other officials and concerned persons from various levels of administration were present.

According to district administration sources, the rest house has been constructed under the arrangements of Jhalokati District Administration and the initiative of Sadar Upazila Administration. Those concerned believe that it will play an important role in increasing the location and travel facilities of tourists as well as increasing the attractiveness of Bhimruli Tourist Center.

In addition, initiatives have been taken to treat floating waste and implement 'Green Boat Certified Tourism' programs to protect the environment and biodiversity of Bhimruli. These initiatives have been taken to develop the tourist center as a clean, environmentally friendly and sustainable tourist destination.
