Bangladesh has recorded four more deaths among people with suspected measles symptoms in 24 hours, including one confirmed measles death.
The Directorate General of Health Services also reported 917 new measles cases during the period.
Two deaths were recorded in the Sylhet Division and two in the Dhaka Division in the 24 hours to 8:00 am on Saturday. One of the two deaths in Dhaka was a confirmed measles case.
The DGHS has been publishing measles data since Mar 15.
According to its official figures, 100 people have died from confirmed measles infections nationwide, while 891 others have died after showing measles symptoms.
Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of deaths among people with symptoms, at 401, followed by Sylhet with 154.
Rajshahi has recorded 92 such deaths, Mymensingh 75, Chattogram 64, Barishal 53, Khulna 35 and Rangpur 14.
A total of 917 people sought hospital care for measles symptoms during the latest 24-hour period, with 761 admitted.
Hospital admissions have reached 143,214, while 137,921 patients have been discharged.
The country has recorded 163,105 suspected measles cases in total, including 19,641 confirmed cases.
