
British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke met Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman on Sunday and discussed his priorities for the UN General Assembly (UNGA) presidency, as well as Rohingya and migration issues.
During the meeting, Cooke sought to understand Khalilur's priorities for his UNGA Presidency, according to a message issued by the British High Commission in Dhaka.
The two sides also discussed the United Kingdom's support for the Rohingya ahead of the ninth anniversary of the Rohingya crisis.
Bangladesh-UK cooperation on migration also featured prominently in the discussion, the message said.
The meeting reflected continued engagement between Dhaka and London on multilateral issues as well as humanitarian and migration cooperation.
