Legendary Bangladeshi rock star Mahfuz Anam James will headline the Bangla Live music festival in Lisbon, Portugal, tomorrow (Sunday), bringing together the Bangladeshi community for an evening of music and cultural celebration.
The concert will begin at 5:00pm at Lisboa Euro Vivo, where James is set to perform a selection of his popular songs.
Dhallywood actor Zayed Khan will also make a special appearance, marking his first stage performance in Portugal.
Sharing his excitement ahead of the event, Zayed said he was looking forward to performing in the country of football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and meeting members of the Bangladeshi diaspora while showcasing the country's culture.
The festival is being jointly organised by Casa do Bangladesh and Noticia Bangla. Organisers describe it as the largest Bangla music event ever arranged for the Bangladeshi community in Portugal.
The announcement has generated strong interest among expatriate Bangladeshis in Lisbon, with organisers expecting a large audience for the cultural event.
