BNP Secretary General and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the government is committed to fulfilling the promises made to the people before the elections.
He said this at a seminar at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital on Friday.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Democracy is under threat all over the world, but we always believe in the trend of democracy. The current government is always accountable to the people.”
He also said, “Due to various war situations in the world, there is instability in the economy and politics. The government wants to maintain relations with all countries by giving importance to the interests of Bangladesh.”
