Two motorcyclists were killed after a bus hit their motorcycle at Arongghata Police Station in Khulna city on Friday night.
The accident took place at around 10:00 PM in Latar Bypass Mor area under the Police Station in Khulna city.
The deceased were identified as Puspen Sen, son of Nirmal Shen, and Sourav Mandal, son of Provas Mandal, residents of West Mobil Pabla area in Dumuria upazila in Khulna district.
It was learnt that a Khulna-bound bus hit their motorcycle in the area while they were crossing the road on a motorcycle, leaving Puspen dead on the spot and Sourav critically injured.
The injured Sourav succumbed to his injuries on the way to the Khulna Medical College and Hospital.
