The BNP is the only political party capable of governing the country properly and efficiently, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said on Saturday.
He warned that people must remain vigilant so that no one can snatch away their hard-earned rights through conspiracy.
The BNP chief made the remarks while addressing an election rally in Sirajganj this afternoon.
Tarique said the BNP is the only political party that knows how to move the country forward. At present, he added, there is no other experienced party in the country apart from the BNP.
He further said that people place their trust in those who have experience, are trustworthy, and have not abandoned them in times of crisis. The BNP embodies all these qualities, he said.
While making his election pledges, Tarique said those who excel in sports would be developed into international-standard athletes.
Besides, the party would provide vocational training to youths to create employment opportunities at home and abroad, he added.
