In a review of investigation and crime control activities, Jessore District Police has been selected as the best in the Khulna Range.
The announcement was made during a crime review meeting for December 2024, held on Thursday (January 23) at the Khulna Range Police office.
The meeting, chaired by Khulna Range's DIG Mohammad Rezaul Haque, PPM, reviewed crime activities for December 2024.
During the meeting, Jessore District was recognized as the top district for its investigative and crime control efforts, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Zia Uddin Ahmed was named the best SP. As a recognition for the commendable work done in December 2024, the DIG presented a token of appreciation to SP Zia Uddin Ahmed.
During the meeting, DIG Mohammad Rezaul Haque also provided instructions to all the Superintendents of Police in the Khulna Range regarding the maintenance of law and order, taking preventive measures against crime, and ensuring appropriate legal actions to control criminal activities.
