Processions street plays and rallies have been held in the hill district Bandarban with the demand of maintaining peace and order and stopping the activities of terrorists.
On January 02 (Thursday) at 3 pm organized by the Bandarban Hill District Council, Bandarban organized a harmony march with this slogan in front of the Bandarban Raja ground in which various small ethnic groups of the district as well as different people of the Bengali community participated in a procession.
Later, the colorful procession gathered in front of Bandarban Press Club after circumambulating the main main road of Bandarban city. Later, a play was held in front of the press club.
Along with highlighting the current situation of the hilly district Bandarban in the road play, the actors have beautifully presented the pictures of the activities of terrorists in the remote areas and the damage to tourism due to this.
Meanwhile, the theater workers emphasized on ensuring the coexistence of all to maintain peace and order in the hills. Later a rally was held and representatives of small ethnic groups Marma, Tripura, Mro, Bam, Khumi community as well as imams of various mosques, monks of Buddhist Viharas and representatives of student societies gave speeches and called for continued development of hilly areas and elimination of all terrorists from hills and peace.
He called for increasing the speed of development while maintaining discipline.
