
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has joined the inaugural ceremony of the international dialogue ‘Bay of Bengal Conversation 2026’.
He joined the event organized at the Grand Ballroom of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital at 9:15 am on Saturday.
The three-day international dialogue is being held under the theme ‘Fragments, Frontiers, Futures: Navigating Power, Technology and Trust in a World Revisited’ and is being organized by the Center for Governance Studies (CGS).
As the keynote speaker at the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech on Bangladesh’s position, global changes, international cooperation and regional prospects.
Politicians, diplomats, researchers, economists, policymakers and media personnel from different countries are participating in the dialogue. The event will run from October 3 to 5.
The various sessions of the dialogue will discuss global balance of power, international security, economic transformation, climate change, technology, democracy, good governance, and Bay of Bengal-centric connectivity and trade.
