High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh and former union minister Dinesh Trivedi has hoped that unity will prevail between the people of Bangladesh and India.
"We are at Netaji Bhavan. I have been very fortunate that this is the place where I have grown up. My emotions, like 140 crore people of this country, is very close to essings of all the Mahapurush, with Netaji,” Press Trust of India quoted him as saying.
“Prime minister of India, and 140 crore people of this country, have given me such an important responsibility for which I am grateful. With this 140 crore, I add another 20 crore of our brothers and sisters of Bangladesh. Together, we will be achieving whatever we want to achieve in the world,” he added.
“So I am going with the good wishes from not just 140 crore, but 160 crore people of both the countries. I am very happy and grateful to the prime minister, the people of this country for giving me such a responsibility and putting faith in me," he further said.
