First Ever Saraswati Puja Celebrated at Chandigarh University

On the occasion of Basant Panchami, Saraswati Puja was organized for the first time at Chandigarh University in a devotional and culturally vibrant atmosphere. Students, faculty members, and representatives of the university administration actively participated in the program, making the event meaningful and memorable.

The puja reflected the spirit of unity and cultural harmony with people from different social and cultural backgrounds coming together to honor Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom.

Speaking on the occasion, organizer Ornab Das said, “Organizing Saraswati Puja at Chandigarh University for the first time has been a very emotional experience for us. With the support of the university administration, respected faculty members and fellow students, the program was completed successfully. We are sincerely grateful to everyone involved.”

The organizers expressed hope that such cultural and traditional events will continue in the future, further strengthening harmony and inclusiveness on campus.
