DU's 'Science Unit' results published, 92% fail

The results of the Dhaka University (DU) Science Unit admission test for the 2025–2026 academic year have been published with only 7.46 per cent pass.

The results were released on Monday evening (January 26).

According to the results, 1,14,114 students applied for 1,891 seats in the Science Unit this year, where 1,02,093 appeared for the examination. A total of 7,621 candidates passed, which is 7.46 per cent of the total examinees. As a result, approximately 92.54 percent of the candidates did not pass.

In addition, 4,278 answer scripts were cancelled due to unfair means and other reasons, which is about 4.19 per cent of the total examinees.

Among the successful candidates, 7,212 are from the science group, 300 from the humanities and 109 from the business studies stream.

The admission test was held on December 27.
