The interim government has declared a public holiday on 11 February, said Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Thursday.
People will get to enjoy holiday for two consecutive days on 11 and 12 February due to the 13th parliamentary elections, he said at a press briefing held at the Foreign Service Academy.
The holiday on 12 February, when the elections will be held, was announced earlier.
Workers in industrial areas will get an additional holiday on 10 February, Shafiqul added.
