Symbolic PhotoTwo former army officers have been arrested in connection with cases filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act and the Cyber Security Act.
They are Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Debashish Kumar Barua and Lieutenant (retd) Gulshan Ara.
Additional Police Commissioner (Detective Branch) Md Shafiqul Islam confirmed their arrests on Monday morning (October 12).
According to a source, former army officer Debashish was arrested over his alleged links to Gulshan Ara, who is an accused in cases filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act and the Cyber Security Act.
