The Election Commission (EC) on Monday announced the final list of polling centres for the 300 constituencies ahead of the February general elections.

In total, 42,761 polling centres have been approved in the final list, said EC Secretary Akhter Ahmed at a press conference held at the EC head office in Agargaon, Dhaka.

There would be total 2,44,649 voting rooms in the polling centres, among which 1,15,137 rooms would be dedicated for male voters and 1,29,602 rooms for female voters, the secretary told reporters.
