Leaders and activists of BNP's Dhaka North and South units gathered at the party's Naya Paltan headquarters this afternoon, expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza and Rafah in Palestine.
The rally, scheduled to begin at 4:00pm, will take place in front of the BNP office and proceed through Shantinagar, Mouchak, and Moghbazar before concluding at Banglamotor.
Since early afternoon, BNP supporters had been arriving in the Nayapaltan area, carrying Palestinian flags and chanting slogans.
Senior leaders of the party are expected to join the programme.
Party officials said they were instructions to all members and supporters to keep the rally peaceful.
